AIS INC Acquires Maine Based Rope Company, Custom Cordage

Advanced Industrial Solutions, Inc. (AIS) Is pleased to announce the acquisition of Custom Cordage LLC. (CC) of Waldoboro, Maine.

"Although a little late in sharing the news - we are ecstatic about the purchase and growth of AIS," said Moe Maheux the company’s Owner, President, and Managing Partner. "Unlike typical transactions where the Parent Company acquires synergistic type operations, CC and AIS other than they both manufacture products are very different. Our thought process is simple between my Partner, Co-Owner, Vice President, and Operating Partner Dave Cook we have a combined 60 years of manufacturing experience across multiple trades especially within the cordage industry, the opportunity presented itself, we know the business extremely well, a turn key opportunity and we executed," said Maheux. "David and I have been together for a long time we feed off each other’s strengths, we are both from Maine and are committed in growing AIS…in Maine. We look to expand by acquiring other Maine based manufacturing companies that are well run, profitable, and meets our longevity goals."
